Angling for the disabled is encouraged and all pitches have
easy access. No areas of the park are hard surfaced but in
most conditions much of the park is accessible with care and
there are no steep gradients.
Whether you are looking for a short stroll around the
site or a more challenging route the Roman Lakes is the
perfect place from which to start your walk. Free History
and Nature Trail routes available (1 – 2 miles) and circular
rambling routes available to purchase from the café - £1
No cycling within the park itself. The Roman Lakes does
however offer the perfect place from which to access miles

Canoeing is by pre appointment only in organised and
